Yes if you are installing a pioneer double din you will need it if you are installing a alpine clarion or kenwood double din you will not need the dash

Yes if you are installing a pioneer double din you will need it if you are installing a alpine clarion or kenwood double din you will not need the dash kit. The only reason you would need that is to cover the gap around the pioneer.
If you are doing a single din that you will need the kit. Check ebay for the best price, crutchfield is good but pricey.
