Doesn't look like it can be turned horizontally in that "mount". Looks like the center piece was re-designed for it. What's the EQ thing below it with the blue lights?

Doesn't look like it can be turned horizontally in that "mount". Looks like the center piece was re-designed for it. What's the EQ thing below it with the blue lights? You should disassemble it and put in some red/orange LEDs instead of the blue. I've done that on fan controllers and other items; not too difficult really.
