Default Driver Door Rattle from Base?

Hi guys,

I have the Bose system in my Z and when I listen with the volume turned up and the bass is heavy there is a rattle that seems to be coming from the driver door. The rattle is gone if I open the door and is not present on the passenger side. Any easy possible fix without going to the dealership or anyone have this problem?

PS I'm in Hong Kong so my Driver side is your Passenger side.

I've noticed the same thing with my passenger side door (your driver side) with my aftermarket setup. I haven't yet taken apart the door to find the culprit. Perhaps this weekend.

I think I've read others complaining about the same thing.

Default same here

i have the same problem, and i dynamatted it already. but, now that i think about it i only dynamatted the outter door, not the panel where the armrest is attached. i think i have to pull it apart again and do that side too. but,,,
i think it sounds like maybe the wire that locks/unlocks to door, so i don't know if dynamating the inside of the pannel will really help. anyone out there, dynamat the door instead of the other pannel and have this same problem, or dynamatted both and don't have this problem. hopefully someone responds to this one quick enough, because i really don't feel like pulling the door appart again.

My problem was some of the speaker wiring that they ran for my installation. I used some Gorilla Tape to secure them to the door, and my problem went away. Probably not going to be the problem for most people. It's easy enough to take off the door panel, so if anyone has this issue, just pop off the panel and see if there is anything obvious.

hmm, well my rattle sounds like it's comming closer to the end of the door, not where the speaker is. I am not sure what it is, but gotta figure this annoyance out soon.

if you have foil tape it works very well to hold wires in place. most hardware stores have them.
