UPDATE: Problem solved. Installing an aftermarket HU with the otherwise stock Bose system requires a line output converter. The rear speaker pots have to be turned 'up' quite a bit

UPDATE:
Problem solved. Installing an aftermarket HU with the otherwise stock Bose system requires a line output converter. The rear speaker pots have to be turned 'up' quite a bit more than the front pots for some reason. The rear speakers and sub weren't getting enough output from the LOC. After adjusting the pots, all is well again. Sounds great!
