Well, I solved my issues. I noobed out to the fullest. I had the antenna adapter plugged into the wrong port. It looked like an antenna port on the back

Well, I solved my issues. I noobed out to the fullest. I had the antenna adapter plugged into the wrong port. It looked like an antenna port on the back of the deck but there was another port which came off the deck in a cable. After swapping the radio reception came on.
