Cerwin Vega spare tire sub vs Wicked C.A.S.

The Cerwin Vega is great for what it is (don't lose any hatch space and sound is much better than Bose sub) However in a previous car I've had a traditional set up of 12" in sub in a box and it provided much more punch and cleaner sound than the Cerwin Vega. Has anyone heard the Wicked Cas corner box and/or spare tire box? Just wondering if the sound is much better than the Cerwin Vega. It is quite expensive so wondering If I can justify spending the extra money to get better sound. I would consider myself an audiophile.
