ASE/ANC Interference with Aftermarket Sub?

I suspect the ANC will become 'out of balance' when you install anything aftermarket, playing slightly different sound to those the system tries to cancel. My understanding of the system

I suspect the ANC will become 'out of balance' when you install anything aftermarket, playing slightly different sound to those the system tries to cancel. My understanding of the system is that the Bose amp provides most of the ANC functionality, so if you're replacing this then you'll effectively remove ANC anyway.

I'm not sure if the ASE is linked to the Bose amp or not- if not then you could probably leave it if you like it. I'm not a fan of it so I had Nissan disable it via Consult.
