I know that if someone really wants to steal a car they will do it. I've been thinking about 1 of the security systems that is controllable from an iPhone. Any suggestions or ideas would be welcome.

Given that if someone really wants to steal a car they will do it, how is an aftermarket alarm controllable from an iphone going to deter or stop someone anymore than the stock alarm? Seems like to me you should just save your money.

Introducing an iPhone (or other remote gadget) to the mix only makes you less secure. The OEM anti-theft system will stop the casual joy-rider. Nothing will stop the pros.

A keyless entry security alarm system is a good investment in your Nissan 370Z. Viper - Car Alarms | Remote Starters | SmartStart | Window Film and Tint | Vehicle Security | Keyless Entry

I'm looking hard at the new compustar PRO T11 for my car. But the thing I don't like is no one makes a T-Harness for a quick and splice free install. Don't get me wrong I can do the install using the old method but I like the simple plug and play method that Vipre and fortin have.

I'd probably go lojack before aftermarket alarm....
