Default Aftermarket Install With a Better Option For Steering Control

I purchased a couple of different cables to find the best head unit install option. Most searches pull up simple adapters but if you want steering controls and don't want to cut into the factory wiring there is a better option.

A company called Auto Harness House specializes in Subaru wiring and makes a 20-pin that works with our 370z cars. It has the four additional wires to connect a Metra Axxess ASWC-1.

Nice find! I just repinned some of the unused rear speaker wires into those slots on my harness adapter.

I'm installing rear speakers so I wanted to keep those tails intact. I looked at removing the unused Subaru wires but couldn't find anything small and strong enough to get in there to pop the pins out.
