Default 2015 Stock System

I wanted to give everyone who just bought the 2015 without bose system an idea of what the radio and harness looks like. I bought the wire harness for a 2014 and it did not match up, however that is for another thread. This thread is just a heads up on what the 2015 base system looks like and the rear connectors. Also, the 2015 stock radio now has a USB and Aux port in the center console; that is what the usb plug is for. Hope this helps anyone thinking of installing an aftermarket radio. I can't answer any questions about how to install because I didn't install the radio yet. This was just to explore and see what I am up against.

Awesome thank you! I just bought a 2015 and was wondering about all this. I won't put a new stereo in for a while but will eventually. Have you bought a replacement? What are you going to put in there?

Awesome can't wait to get my hands on a 2015 to get started.

Good info! I'll see what I can dig up about a new harness.

What stereo did you install? I need to know what to start looking for. Does the volume and bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel work with it?

I installed the pioneer AVH-4000, Alpine PDX5 -v9 and Focal PS165V. No speakers in the back. I have the steering wheel control module installed but i haven't had a chance to configure it yet. I'll take pictures this weekend and post.

That's a nice lookin stereo! Can't wait to see pics. What about the bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel, did those work with it? Are you using stock speakers or did you swap them out?

Couple questions, did you find a wire chart for all the wires? Do the volume and bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel all work with your upgrade?

I just got home from buying the AVH4000 for my 2016 370z. It is to be installed next week. Didn't have the car with me when I bought it. Now that I'm home, it looks like the motorized CD tray won't have enough room to open without hitting the gear shift (automatic). Did you run into a problem with this? Maybe yours is a manual and therefore the placement of the shifter is different?

Any pics of the hookups in the center console? Maybe I need to pick up a 15+ console!
