Will this radio fit? Gear comes in way?

I can't see why it wouldn't fit but if you use the cubby a lot like i do, the top of the screen might get in the way when it's

I guess you could tilt the screen down to get to the cubby but I say go for it. does your unit have a detachable button panel?
