Switching buttons on steering wheel from left to right?

Has anyone tried switching the audio control buttons with the cruise control buttons (and wiring of course) to have the stereo controls on the right instead of on the left?

Um...no, wouldn't the orientation be upside down if this was done? I know the volume can be reporgrammed but not the cruise control. My wife actually had a ford with the buttons switched and I HATE IT! Volume IMO should be on the left lol

I prefer stereo controls on the same hand as the snifter. This is the way it is designed for Japan. Nissan was too cheap to change the orientation for the North American cars.

I don't mean reprogramming, I mean physically moving buttons and wiring.

time and money can make anything happen seems pointless for something to be moved what 2, 3 inches from left to right, if it aint broke don't fix it! but give it a shot if your dead set on it, contact a local custom audio dealer in your area and break out the checkbook!

You would HAVE to reprogram the buttons as up would be down and accel would be decel.
