My 6140, Focal, Image Dynamics, Alpine install

Looks good man. How do you like the ID sub? I see that Z enclosure figured out that trimming that side of the spacer will allow people to use them

Looks good man. How do you like the ID sub? I see that Z enclosure figured out that trimming that side of the spacer will allow people to use them over top of the existing spacer. Glad they took the advice.

Thanks! The ID sub sounds great and I'm only feeding 200watts to it (Alpine PDX4.100 powering the Focal and ID). Yep the spacers fits without any other modifications.

How do you think a single IDQ 10" would sound compared to your single 12"? Would you describe your bass as "clean"? If you had to do it again and make 1 change, would it be to give the sub more power, get a 2nd sub, upgrade the sub quality, or change the sub size?

About 40% less output and impact than the 12.

my bass sounds "clean" but i'm no audio expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt. seems like the sub definitely can handle more power and if i dedicated more money to my audio setup i would definitely get a more powerful amp BUT i am happy with the current setup and it fits my needs/wants.
