Question What do you think of this setup? Anyone have experience with Alpine R Speakers?

This is what I had in mind for my 99 Accord Coupe.

Alpine R Speakers 6 1/2" (Front)

Alpine R Speakers 6" x 9" (Rear) Though I heard they may not fit my car even though it has 6 by 9 in the rear. I'll have to see further.

What do you guys think?

Though this is not directly having to do with the Z, I'm pretty sure other would look into any info given.

I own a 02' Accord and I would recommend that you the Hertz HSK165.5 6.5 comps for the front speakers! These are amazing speakers. And for the rear the ESK690 should do the job. Pioneer also has the TS-D720C that would work also!

You definitely want to look into getting 2 or 3 way 6.5" components up front. 6x9 will not fit, unless you want to put them in an enclosure.

I have a pair of used MB Quart Reference 3-way 6x9 in an enclosure. It came out of my 350Z when I had it squeezed between the strut tower bar. PM me if interested.

yeah i would stay away from alpine speakers period. i mounted components on the front on the weekend, and it sounds like a$$. so i am going to buy some focal and do a proper install instead.
