Subwoofer cracks when there's too much bass?

Also seems like the crack only happens if I have windows rolled down. It happens very rarely if I have my windows rolled up, however, still there's a cracking noise even with windows up. Could it be due to the poor subwoofer or the amp

Perhaps the polarity is reversed?
