Default I've been looking

Looking through this section to see what everyone has done. I saw a Tesla themed idea for nav/stereo/etc, and I saw a nice build for putting a sub where the spare is.

I would love to put something where the little compartment is, just makes more sense, but then the ugly *** stock stereo would still be there. Can someone pin some posts that I may have overlooked for more ideas? Or just tell me some.

IF I buy a unit, what size is it? Some are 6.2" some are 7"

I basically want Nav/Back up camera/Stereo all in one.

Was looking at this one, but don't know if it will fit, or what is everyone's opinion?

As far as I know, head units are all standard size. That 6.2 vs 7 is the screen size. One screen is bigger than the other. This is because one might have actual buttons and knobs vs all touch screen. For the rear view option, most modern head units have that feature built in. You just have to buy the camera kit and wire to connect to the back of the unit. Another thing you might want to think about it Bluetooth and USB capabilities to play music from.

Ohh. I was thinking if the screen size said 7" that the rough size of the unit would be about 7 and 1/4" and if it was 6.2" that it would be around 6 1/2" or so.

Nope. It's a standard double din size.
