My windows were down!!!

So I walk back to my car after work today and I found both windows down!!! I am 99.999% sure I didn't leave them like that when I parked the car.

Is there anything that can cause the windows to roll down on their own?!?!?

Yes, holding the remote unlock button too long. From the Owners Manual:

Quote:

Opening windows

The UNLOCK button operation also allows
you to open a window that is equipped with the
automatic open/close function. (See “POWER
WINDOWS” in the “2. Instruments and controls”
section.)

To open the window, push the door UNLOCK
button*2 on the Intelligent Key for about
3 seconds after the door is unlocked.
To stop opening, release the UNLOCK
button.

Window cannot be closed using the Intelligent
Key.

The door window can be opened or closed by
turning the metal key in a door lock. (See
“DOORS” earlier in this section.)

ahhhh crap! I must have been sitting on the keys ...and that remote has a really good range.

Ok...I still feel stupid, but I guess that is not as bad a walking away with the windows down.

on the G37 if your windows are screwed up, start the car, hold both window switches up for 15 seconds and that resets your windows

The range of the remote is really surprising! Even after doing metallic tint on the windows, I can open and close my door from far distance.
