Post Mini Mods

Hey guys so I just recently got my 40th.

I have been contemplating on a lot of small modifications..

So far I have done:

GTR Red Switch
Led Parking Lights 6k
HID 6k to match the parking lights
Stealth Turn Signals in the rear
LED interior bulbs and reverse lights
K&N Drop In.
Considering the rear fog light, will probably get that soon..

I am a big appearance guy and I love the way the 40th looks but I have extra plasti dip at home and don't know if I should be plasti dipping the fangs, emblems, and/or rear valance.. I have seen many Z's with it on there but the 40th has such a unique appeal and I don't want to take away from that.. What do you guys think? Should i plasti dip the fangs and the emblems? anyone have any HQ pics?

Also what other "mini mods" could I do, especially on the 40th?

Currently saving for a Fast Intentions TDX carbon fiber Exhaust.

Best thing I can tell you is, do what you like its your car.

Plastidip you can take off if you dont like the way it looks.

I did plastidip on my emblems, but had the fangs actually painted in a glossy black. I like the way it turned out. You could also go for a short throw shifter and/or the stillen intake. These are very common mods.

Congrats on the 40th! When I got mine I didn't want to do anything to it. Then I realized my intent to keep this car for a VERY long time and the realization that if I see something I like I should do it and enjoy making my car exactly what I want it to be. Looking around on this forum I see sick mods all the time. I decided to keep my 40th to tasteful mods and not all out change the essence of what it is, but still make it mine. Small mods like LED's, and spacers, turned to bigger ones like the front lip and some plans for headlights/rear spoiler/wheels/exhaust/and suspension. Nothing wrong with making the car like you think it should of came from factory. I'm doing things in a way that I could put it back to original if I wanted to. But I'm certainly less afraid to do mods now that I've had it for a little while. Enjoy it!

and start yourself a build thread. I don't get a lot of interest in mine, but at the very least it's a good documentation of what you're doing and your thoughts for future mods. Lots of build threads around here inspired me. It's really nice to see what can be done, and then do it in your own way!

Thanks everyone for the help!
I went ahead and plasti dipped my emblems and the fangs, however I feel like the emblems looked better in chrome so i might take the dip off of those....

I was considering getting the big "Z" emblem in the front only:
Motorsport! Big "Z" Front Emblem, Chrome with Black Carbon Fiber, 09-12 370Z - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts

Is this worth it? any 40th's around here with pictures of it? I feel like it would give the front of the car a better look, but some might say it looks cheap.. Idk, contemplating..

I initally had that emblem, but i could never get it to stay on right and it just wasnt big enough to fill up the cut out from the stock emblem, so I ended up getting this one:

Motorsport! Front "Z" Emblem, Carbon Fiber Base, 09-12 370Z - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts

But personally? I wish I would have just stayed stock and plasti-dipped the stock emblem.
