:shakes head:Wow way off. Looks like Nissan Canada just continues to find a way to f*ck it up! And yet for some reason I am not surprised in the slightest!!!!!!!:rofl2:

Nissan Canada can take there build numbers and :gtfo2: I would only take Vince's numbers as correct. He actually fallows the vin unlike these tards! Omg this just getting reducilous! I should email the list her to them and see what they say to it lol!

Had to fix the list. Typo on your first post said 3153, however in the other thread I saw you had posted 2153 so I am assuming you ment 2153.

370zOperator 03-29-2012 12:04 AM

Yep, it was my bad. The VIN should have read 2153.

Are these numbers in line with the others for Canada?

It's super tough to tell. If the last 4 of your VIN are actually 2153, then yes, you're in the neighborhood. There is no 40th ending in 3153. Purely by VIN sequence, you're build #30.

krzykanuk 04-02-2012 02:15 PM

Is anyone going to call Matt and ask him why he is giving out semi-random numbers?

LMBmikeZ 04-02-2012 08:04 PM

Good luck....... I honestly don't think they have a clue what's going on.

It's funny that your VIN and mine are 3 off. If you were told yours was build #28, then that would totally match the difference in VINs, since I was told mine was build 31.

wow off topic but holy sh!t DJ I am loving the new car! one of the cars I would be willing to give up my Z for! But it would have to be a black edition or a spec V GTR no normal GTR!!!!!!

Damn I am loving that signature pic!!!!!!congrats and enjoy! :driving: (minus the shifting! they should make an emoticon for the auto/gtr guys with paddle shifters!)

Thanks Mike! It's a matter of perspective...last year, they only sold Black Editions in Canada, so does that make it a "normal" GT-R? Sorry, no SpecV's in N.America. The Black Edition seats are awesome! Love the new car. It was bittersweet to sell the 40th Z, but it went to a good home.

LMBmikeZ 04-17-2012 11:55 AM

I know that the spec v is not available in NA, but I would still love to import one some day(when they fit the conditions for importing in Canada). As for the black edition I had noticed that when looking in auto trader that all of them were black editions I wonder why they would do that? What makes te BE different from say the base gtr or the premium that I have seen do u know?

I know in previous years the BE was not as common it was more the "sport" model so to speak. At least that's what I thought????? or is the BE now just the base model?

djpathfinder 04-17-2012 12:08 PM

The "Premium" model is the new "base" model. The Black Edition comes with different and lighter Rays wheels (SpecV 6 spoke black with polished lip) which many find not attractive, Recaro seats, and red accented seats and interior trim. The 2013 BE also comes with a dry carbon fibre rear wing. Performance-wise, like the 40th Z to the other Sport Z's, the BE is the same as a Premium. Those BE Recaro seats are very comfortable and gives a lot of support compared to the Premium seats.

LMBmikeZ 04-17-2012 12:16 PM

Did they remove the back seat for the BE like they did to the spec V? Probably not looking at the specs. I know the fronts have the same recaro seats though. It would be cool as a 2 seated IMO.

djpathfinder 04-17-2012 02:37 PM

Nope, the back seats are still there. That's one big reason why I went with the GT-R...My wife, two kids and I can fit in it, where as that's not possible in the Z. It's my family supercar. LOL.

LMBmikeZ 04-17-2012 04:45 PM

That's cool! Just wondering.

Hope your kids don't get to big it's a tight fit back there.

Congrats though!

No more Canadian 40th's out there? I saw one in North Waterloo last week! we both gave each other a very surprised look to each other! We don't see to many 370's in our area
