I honestly would be thankful if I were you.
Of course we'd all rather not have the issue but the fact that the company recognizes the problem and is willing to replace an entire shortblock without any sort of pushback is pretty remarkable... that's a lot of $$$ and labor for them. Now you at least can be relatively sure you have a strong block and that you won't have to worry about undue wear on engine components due to consumption. |
