I think I just realized that the thick rubber at the bottom of the knob should go below the shift boot.....

This is a big fail all this time...

LOL! Right?! I tried to put the fat rubber below the shift boot and it didnt worked. It was too fat! So I went to Home Depot, bought an insane amount and various rubber washers and attempted to fix it. It worked, looks hotter (pics tomorrow since its too dark), but it feels smaller this time. I need my pinky finger to stick out whenever I shift!

I found out that the rubber piece is the finisher and is normal to have it just below the knob. What I do know as wel is that I can get a better looking one than just rubber!
