As long as you keep the AFRs in line, you should be able to run for a while without a tune. Stay away from WOT until you get the tune.

The more mods you put on. The sooner you should get a tune to get the most out of it.

And like SG4247 said. The ecu will adjust for the mods. But only to a degree. Mine was run rich when I got my tune done. Vince leaned out the mixture, and the car picked up more power. And I got better fuel mileage too.
