FS: 370z salvage title black 6mt sport

i'm a little confused...aren't salvage titles typically given after an accident causes a significant loss in the value of the car? or if the car is stolen? i guess what i'm wondering is, why does the car have a salvage title, a blown ECU is covered under warranty, unless the owner did something he shouldn't have which caused it.

Didn't know the term 'salvage' involved so many acts and actually meant a significant loss in the value of the car.

this one now has a 'restored' title, which means any condition that caused it to be classified as 'salvaged' has been resolved
