In my thread ( http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ugust-1st.html ) I made the suggestion that perhaps those coming who are associates with the370Z.com should try to get together; at least informally...perhaps we can even work out a formal "event" for 370Z owners (a cruise, etc.).

Whether "formal" or "informal" I think we should try to get together!

>135I 02-25-2010 05:30 AM

I agree, I'm in for meeting.

I don't want to step on ZCON at all but I think we can plan something "informal"; perhaps we can all meet up at a local wattering hole that's easy to find???

As we get closer to the event we can better plan a time/place!

>135I 02-25-2010 04:16 PM

That seems like a smart way to do it.

roplusbee 03-07-2010 02:37 AM

That would be pretty perfect for me. I get to go to GA for a professional developement course around that time. Let me know what you guys have in mind and it's on.

Happens quite a bit actually. The guys from Twinturbo.net (Z32 Owners) usually organize a dinner for their guys during ZCON at a local restaurant. Other groups have done the same in the past.

BTW-I spoke to Chris Karl (President of the ZCCA and ZCON 2010 Chairman) and he confirmed that Bob Bondurant, Peter Brock and Steve Millen are all confirmed to be at the convention.

This is the 23rd Annual Z Convention and it is going to be a huge event. If you haven't signed up don't wait do it now.

We will be having a caravan leaving from San Antonio and passing through Dallas so if anyone wants to join us you are more than welcome.

Dustin@Z1 03-11-2010 09:35 PM

Z1 will be there in full force... I ll be bringing out my '92 Slicktop Z32.

See the website for hotel information: www.zcon2010.com/hotel.htm

Hope to see you all there!!

zinistr 04-23-2010 07:43 AM

- 2009 NISMO 370z #196
- ZINISTR - '91 600hp 300zx Z32

Spartan 1771 05-02-2010 11:13 PM

I'm going. Just got approved for the time off from work. Now I just need to find some owners in the Maryland, Virginia, DC area to caravan down with.

Spartan 1771 05-06-2010 12:05 PM

For anyone who plans to attend this event from Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC, I've created a caravan forum: http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...avan-whos.html

Check it out and sign up. Hopefully I will find at least a few others from this area to drive down and back with. I'm sure it's going to be a great trip!

kevr6 06-01-2010 07:52 PM

I reserved rooms at secondary hotel and pre-registered already! Coming up from Atlanta!!
Wed morning drive up!!

Spartan 1771 06-01-2010 08:39 PM

GREAT!! See you there!

PS: LOVE the wheels!

You are correct sir...there are a few different track events. There are HPDE and autocross. The HPDE events are nearly booked up from what I remember and start at $160.

BTW...Track Z is looking sweet.

Better hurry up and sign up for the Auto-X and Track event last I heard they were almost full.

Mike 06-03-2010 11:22 PM

I signed up last friday and was able to enter both the HPDE and the Autocross. THose are the only events I am doing, other than the dinner stuff. Staying at the Marriott across from the Embassy Suites. Its more expensive than the overflow hotel, at 150 per night, but its right there.

Spartan 1771 06-04-2010 09:24 AM

We're at the overflow. I would like to be closer, but this was a last minute trip, and we have two others planned this year, so we have to watch the cash flow. I so wish I had a money tree.

Are you serious?

kevr6 07-04-2010 09:33 PM

I just received an email stating that i did not pay!! I responded with the receipt for $150 to their Paypal account!! The email threatened to cancel my registration if I don't respond by Tues the 5th. Now last I looked Mon was the 5th. I'm starting to get nervous that the event is going to be unorganized.

I got the same email, but I sent an email to Christopher Karl, and he got back to me and confirmed my registration. He said it was a minor error.

I PMed you his email address.

Don't be. With an event this large there are always minor issues. A simple email to Chris will help correct this, his and all the others contact info are on the ZCON 2010 website.

kevr6 07-05-2010 06:41 PM

Cool!! Thanks!

Spartan 1771 07-05-2010 07:29 PM
