Zcon 2010... Maryland, Virginia & DC Caravan. Who's In?

For those of you that don’t know, the 23rd Annual International Z Car Convention is being held in Memphis Tennessee from July 28th - August 1st, 2010. This is the 40th anniversary of the Z car, so this is going to be a HUGE event.

I’m planning to attend this event and would like to caravan down with other members from the Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC area. If anyone is planning to attend and is interested in making the long trek down together, let me know.

We’ll have to come up with a lot of details between now and then, but we have plenty of time.

Bummer! I managed to get off from work, which was a small miracle in it self. If you hear about anyone who is going from this area, tell them to let me know.

I'm about 95% certain I'm going. I've updated all my registration info....just need to move to the processing (payment) part. Ugh....but I'll prolly go thru with it.

I just joined their club and I'm hoping to attend the chapter meeting on 7/13 so that I can get more details on the trip. If your interested in driving down with us, let me know!

I attended a Maryland Z Club meeting last night and I'll be caravanning down with them. They have about 20 cars going. We are leaving on Tuesday, July 27th. Our group meeting place is going to be in Toms Brook Virginia at 9am. They picked that location because it’s a good central spot for all of the Maryland Members to meet and it’s also on the way down. From there we are driving approximately 6 hours down to Bristol Virginia and staying overnight at the Holiday Inn. The next morning we’re driving the remaining portion of the trip down to Nashville. We should be at the convention at approximately 2pm.

Everyone at the meeting seemed really nice. The crowd was very diverse. Their site is VERY quiet though. I joined because I want to attend the events and network with people in person. I'm one of only 3 370 owners. Most of the members have multiple Zs and they SERIOUSLY know their Z history.
