PSA: Issue concerning label found on NISMO S-Tune Sway Bars sold thru Z1 Motorsports

Everyone,
I have received a few PM's regarding concerns about the NISMO S-Tune Sway Bars we have been selling though Z1 Motorsports, their quality and a label that has been found to be present on a few sets of the bars that were shipped out recently.

The label in questions states:
"BLEMISHED PART / AS IS NO MANUFACTURER WARRANTY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED"

As all of you are aware, we have been able to offer these NISMO S-Tune Sway Bars and NISMO S-Tune Wheels for substanitally LESS then our competitors. This is due to the fact that we have been able to purchase these products for far less than normal cost.

Our ability to purchase these items for such a discount is due to the fact that we have purchased Nissan Overstock on these items. Occasionally, Nissan audits its inventory and sells off products in bulk to wholesalers. The items are 100%, genuine Nissan products with NO DEFECTS WHATSOEVER. Nissan engages in these sales for various reasons including taxes, prevent inventory holding costs, replacement of a product with another model line and so forth.

When Nissan engages in these sales of overstock products, ALL of the products that are sold to wholesalers are labeled with the decal described above. This is to acknowledge that the products were not sold through normal Nissan dealership channels and do not have the same applied warranties. ALL of these items are brand new in the box products. These are not used, refurbished or warrantied items. The fitment, finish and performance the products in question HAS NOT AND WILL NOT be affected in anyway.

To be honest this label is very misleading and has been a cause for alarm in the past. As a result of the false alarm that this label creates, we generally remove the label during our packaging operations prior to shipping the sway bars out. Due to the higher than usual order demand over the Black Friday period and the fact that we had many staff members in the shipping area helping to fulfill orders, a few sets were sent out with the labels still in place.

Minor nicks in the sway bar's powder coated finish are most likely a result of the inadequate packaging that these sway bars had when they were originally shipped from the manufacturer to Nissan. This is why we put A LOT more packing material in the boxes before shipping them out to the customer.
