Found a '10 Nismo I want to pick up. Your thoughts on price.

So yah, I think im gonna make a move on a used Nismo in the next week or two. Car has 23k miles but has the certified 100k warranty. Car is fully packed with JL audio setup, Pioneer DVD/Nav headunit and Sat radio. Its tinted and seems to be in pretty good shape. Dealer wants 35 and change which to me is outa this world high as ive looked at tons on auto trader. Anyone think I can get them down to 32 out the door is or that asking way too low. I mean thats a 5k markdown over their sticker and I dont want to have rude comments from the dealer either, I want it to be like np sir we will do the deal and I drive off within a day or two of them thinking about it. Your thoughts are more than welcome, I told them ive seen lots of '10s in the 32/33 range on auto trader and im more than willing to fly and drive it home and you know those dealers will come down as well off of their asking price. So please, feel free to give me your thoughts.

Oh I forgot to mention it was a forum members car previously and I have been in contact with him since asking about the car, he said its an amazing car but he had to have a truck to pull his boat so he had to use it on a trade in.

I would probably offer 30k even. Especially since it already has 23k miles on it and the 2013's are fast approaching. I doubt the dealership will go that low but hey, wouldn't hurt to negotiate from there. What color?

Ask the former car owner what was the trade in value and add on top what you feel would be a fair profit for the dealer. I would put it on the table with the dealer that I know what they paid for it so you know what would benefit both parties involved (you and dealer).

Red, yah well I guess 32 OTD would be about 30k, id say id push 32.5OTD but it depends if they would bite at that price. Your right 3 more months and the 13's hit the floor and they have signs everywhere for "we must move 235 vehicles this month" and 1.99% financing on all used cars.
