Oh just for a tip, you might want to grind down the wall on a deep 1in socket so that when you torque the adapter to the oil filter bolt/housing that it grips well, and make sure its a 6 pt so you don't chance stripping the head. I think it calls for 40ft lbs.

Thanks Roy for the excellant tip on the 1" deep socket mod.
