Everyone is absolutely right. No company is without flaws. I think we can be decent customers if the company is trying to rectify the situation. I just don't think it's cool for you to blast them when they're trying to do right by you.

James, I was actually going to PM last week about what was going on, just so you didn't get some warped 3rd person story about it, but I figured you wouldn't want to get pulled into it. Now I wish I would have sent you an email. You should know, even from the short meetup we had, I'm an honest guy that isn't out to cheat anyone or lie about stuff.

Very sorry about the Nismo guard Matt. Dustin ordered the part when I texted you. But it seems another member on the forum picked it up from the dealer before they shipped it to us(guess it's a Nismo issue). I'm very happy to see that the 370Z crowd is on top of issues. I think this is one of the most informed sites on the net at the moment. With that said people should know about the good and the bad of every shop. Spencer has agreed to go half with me on the part. We are paying for this out of pocket mainly because I was foolish enough not to charge enough and letting customers be under the car with the tech.

When the part arrives I will contact you and set something up. You will have a New OE Nismo piece installed when the part arrives. Like You and I discussed if it was to much $ we would handle it another way. I will call you as soon as the part comes in an I will also offer you a fill up and a free ester oil change.

I apologize for typing what I did. I honestly don't think what happened to me, and certainly what happened with the OP, represents the type of company Z1 is....honestly. I got defensive and responded to James and I shouldn't have.

My presence in this thread was not to come in and complain and whine. It was to point out that the OP had an issue with Z1 Motorsports, and I wanted the community to know, simply, that he's not the only one and that I understood how he felt (even though I don't agree with how he ultimately handled the situation).

I'm gonna back out of this thread now, because I hate drama queens, and I refuse to become one. I'll keep this to PMs.

Matt, I'm sure your situation was unique and resolved accordingly, and is being handled in the professional manner that yourself and Z1 both pride yourselves on.

No one is saying anything about how you feel about your situation, or that anything that has happened was anything intentional.

The only reason anyone has said anything about the OP was not that there might have been a problem that could have been easily resolved, but that the manner in which it was brought up merely just to vent frustration rather than trying to solve the problem.

I agree 100%. I guess I just felt the responses were more along the lines of "Z1 is perfect, leave them alone!" instead of "OP, you're an idiot." That's my fault in interpretation, not anyone else's.
