I had this issue, if you have spacers and installed studs. Tighten you lug nuts, when wheel rotates while driving it will shift making popping sound. Sometimes the studs aren't fully seated.
If you don't have spacers tighten them anyway and see if that was the issue. If not you may need to rebuild the caliper, one side may be sicking, common with our calipers as they heat up quickly and melt the rubber o rings.
