Hello Kentstuh and thank you for your feedback. The place where I got my wheels (SAT Specialty Automotive Treatments in Surise Florida) told me that the wheels had been made specifically for the Z, Savini Black di Forza – BM Series and they told me I didnt need the centric ring.

your comments please.

Its awesome to be able to count on Z drivers who know their stuff.

Try taking your car to good roads off sunrise in ft laud, it may be called elite roads now. Those guys really know their cars and helped me along time ago when I had an issue just like yours.

Question, what did you use to lower your car? Springs? Coils? Make? Manufacture?

When you are driving at 70 to 80 does anything else in the car shake? Shifter? Your ***/seat?

Reeps, thanks for the suggestion.

Researching here on the forum I saw a post (370z wheel shaking, spacers, wheel shaking, wheel spacers, wheel vibration ) that recommends an alignment (I dont think thats my case).

I'm using Springs, TEIN S.TECH SPRING KIT.

At times you can feel it a bit on the floor of the car, no so much as the wheel.

Well I am no expert in the matter but I assume that after lowering the car and changing the wheels that you will need an alignment. I know after I lowered my car the car was driving like complete poo and I had to get an alignment. So you may want to try that. I heard that Firestone has a deal that if you pay $169 for the alignment that they will do it for a lifetime on the car for free.

Reeps, indeed, totally worth trying that.

I did check for good roads off sunrise in ft laud and elite roads and both are available, do you suggest one over the other?

I think its the same place. I moved from FLA to NV about 2+ years ago. I just remember the place being west of 95 like a few blocks and back then it was called Good Roads. There was a manager there who owned a 370z and he knew how to set them up right.

I really feel after the alignment your car will drive much better. I just don't know if it will help with the shake. I lowered my car and put 20's on it and had major problems with shake but I came to find out that the hubcentric ring that the morons put in were the wrong size.

If I was you I would take off one of the rims, measure where the hub fits and just double check that the hole is the right size. I sware I spent a year of my life pissed because I couldnt get the shake out and then I came to find out they put the wrong ring inside. I would hate for you to find out that the hole was cut wrong and no one checked.

if for some reason there is even the slightest gap where the hub slides in your steering wheel is going to shake.

I also read somewhere that it could be your lug nuts. there are differnt types of lugnuts and if you dont have the right ones that could also make the wheel shake.

Reeps, I cant ask for any more help than the one you and the rest of the guys have provided here, I will go and check Elite Roads (found out thats them) and get them to check my ride, I just dont enjoy driving my car at the moment.

You definitely need to get an alignment. As I recently learned, when you lower a car you change the camber and toe. I didn't know this when I lowered my car right after I bought it, as it was the first time I had a lowered car. It cost me a set of tires, but lesson learned

Also, in order to align it properly, you will need an adjustable camber kit. I found that out after my first alignment couldn't get it within spec.

Everyone, I would like to thank you for all your valuable input, its great to see the 370z in action trying to provide a fix.

Reeps!!! I Cant thank you enough for suggesting "Good Roads" now "Elite Roads". my problem has been fixed, believe it or not, it was something so simple that i couldnt belive it myself!!!!!! it was as simple as a tire balance with an "index" adjustment!!!!! problem fix, my beauty is smooth as silk and i'm a happy 370z driver again!!!!!!

once again, thank you All for your input, much appreciated.

what is balance with index adjustment? is this the same as road force balance?
