Default Plastidip MB wheel color?

Hey Guys,
I just got my '09 370Z not too long ago and im getting bored of the stock wheels as i have the older 5 spoke wheels. I want to try plasti dipping them until i have money for new wheels. I like glossy and i dont want black or anything to dark, i want the wheels to stand out but not be obnoxious. I considered white but thought that would be too much. Im thinking about trying The True Metallic Anthracite or Vintage Gold. Any opinions or pics you can scrounge up to help me decide would be great. Thanks!

I just did flat black. I was originally going to put clear on but I think the flat black turned out really. Ive also be thinking about doing a bright green with a black base coat.

Yeah he hates the stuff. Its like it slept with his wife then kicked his dog. lol.

I have it on my spoiler and fangs. I find it works awesome if you put tire dressing on it during detailing, makes it pop much more and look more richer if that makes sense.

i hate the overspray mess it makes. just be sure to do the work where no other cars are in the garage, cover your tool cases, etc. the product itself isnt' necessaritly bad, just ghetto.

for wheels, id use real wheel paint.

when i did the emblems on my dd, i used real vinyl instead of plasti-shitt cause i didnt want to deal with the overspray.

I would leave them alone and save for a legit set of aftermarket wheels

PD'd stock wheels just makes you look like a cheapskate

Absolutely this. Plastidip looks horrible. It's also what you see stanced 4dr civics with fart cans and mom's Corolla driven by teens. Do you want to mimic those guys?

No those are the guys that always want to race me oddly enough lmao. But, I would like to play around with my color options to see what I like and don't like on the car. I do plan on getting wheels but id like something to play in the meantime. This is sex as F###... I'm trying to do a coppery-gold color and see how it turns out. And if it looks like crap I'll peel it off no harm done.

just use photoshop.. or even paint.net (freeware). easier, cleaner, cheaper, faster.

once u decide the color, paint it using real wheel paint.

If done right it can look pretty good. The trick is to take care of it and keep it from drying out to much.

But yes on wheels it doesn't look that great not to mention it holds dust and looks not so great once it gets dirty.
