Tire Pressure

Went drag racing 2 weeks after i got my car. Never touched the psi until i got home that night. Couldnt figure out why i was spinning in 1st and 2nd so bad...front tires were at 45psi and both rear tires were at 47psi....wtf was the dealership or factory thinking

Let me get this straight you did what 2 weeks after you got your presumably New car? all I can say is WoW! unless you put a couple thousands miles for a break-in. anything less than that I'm basically in shock how someone would do that. But to each his own. My apologies to the OP.

I certainly wasn't gentle with mine when I got it, and more than likely did a few "3/8 mile drag race" runs of my own.

Never truely WOT, but, pretty close!

so basically similar thing happened to me

i didnt know what that yellow light was so i checked the owner's manual to see that it was the TPMS sensor

so i did a check around to see that it is 32psi and the factory recommendation is 35.

is it going to be a problem if im going to go on a road trip to vegas which is a 450-500 mile round trip?
