Ya, unfortunately the price increases from Volk over the past year have put them out of the price range of many consumers. It was not that long ago they were sub 3K. Now it is nearly impossible to find a set that low.
 They are beautiful wheels that are among the strongest on the market. Even at a 3k+ price point they are still worth the money to most.
