Just put on a set of S04 pole positions two weeks ago. The guy at America Tire did not like the Comp 2. It seems like you are trying to get the most miles out of a tire. Fact is all these tires were not designed to go many miles. Got 18k out of the rears and the fronts were fine. I replaced all 4 so I didn't have two different tires on vehicle. Wife's car. She has notice the car rides better, quieter, and handles better.
Glad we went with the Pole Positions. Here in So Cal we have very little rain. Winter is non existent. It is a sports car and sports car tires were not designed to be quiet or last long. If I can get two years out of staggered set on sports package, I'm good with that. |
