The best way to keep from damaging the TPMS is to drop them into the wheels before tire removal.
I think I paid about $5 per wheel on my 350.

So TreeSemdyZee do u think they r commending them be changed because chances r they screw it up when replacing the tires?

Not really. It's kind of like when you do anything that involves a gasket. That's pretty much all the rebuild kits are. Gaskets and maybe some other minor pieces. They aren't really "rebuilding" the TPMS. Just replacing all of the seals so there's no leakage.

edit: Scratch what I just said. It looks like there's more to the rebuild that just seals. Looks like the stem, cap, seal and nut.
