Default Wheel spacer for Nismo/Swift's?

I read the offset of the Nismo rims was different than the base rims... So if I get Swift lowering springs, what size spacer would be good to run and NOT get any rubbing..?

Also one other thing is there any spacers out there that come close to the same size of the inside of the rim? All the pictures I have seen of the spacers there is a noticeable gap between the rim and the rotor due to the spacer being smaller in diameter than either of those two...

15mm all around wont rub. 20mm with wide tires and factory alignment specs MIGHT rub. people got 20mm to work but they have alot of camber.

you are being too anal about the different diameters.

Perhaps I am... So 20MM with factory rims/tire size will rub on the Nismo?

no.... that all depends on your camber settings.

heres what i said

"20mm with wide tires and factory alignment specs MIGHT rub"

factory camber setting will be affected once you put on the swift springs. to some people 2 degrees of camber is fine. i would personally like to be at the factory recommended settings. which is possible with a proper camber kit and toe lock out bolts.

i dont think there are many guys on here with 20mm spacer AND still holding factory camber and toe settings, wider tires or not. if there are people out there doing it please chime in.

I may or may not be a help at all and I'm in any way not an expert.
Anyhow, I've experimented with tons of spacers out there, as far as
what I've tried and seen personally, it depends what style you want.

Going 20mm all around is the aggressive setup having it cambered in.
Same thing with a 15mm all around, the rear requires being cambered in while
the front will stay flush by the fender.
I've done 15/20, 15/15 and 15/10. I'm on H&R springs with SPC rear camber
kit, it may not be the springs you want/have but at least gives you an idea
where the wheel will sit.

With the nismo wheels being 19 X 9.5 +40 and 19 X 10.5 +23, having 15/10
puts the offset at +25 and +13 respectively, close to the most preferred
offset of +22 and +12.

And not trying to be a smart a**, there are no spacers for now that makes
the wheel and rotor looks like there's no spacer due to I'm assuming
weight reasons. What I've done is by installing Stillen's 1pc rotor that is zinc coated
making it unnoticeable.

Now, there are a lot of factors to be considered still, with the setup I have
the wheels sit flush by the fender and I was able to rock wide tires, 265/35/19
and 305/30/19, and still stay on OEM camber settings.

Enough talk, here are some pics of mine:

A drop would finalize the look of the rear.

Mine isnt a Nismo, but I will be installing my Swift's and 20mm spacers all around with rear camber kit w/toe bolts this month. I want to be as close to factory spec as possible. I am not going super aggressive like putting 305's in the back so I it will not rub just like fuct stated. I know guys are running this setup with 285's in the rear no issue. Some are even doing 20/25 although I am not sure how close to spec they are in the rear to not rub. I will report back once my install is done and get it aligned to any issues I may encounter.

Yeah which ones do you have in those shots? Also what are you lowered on? And are those factory size tires?

The setup is OEM Nismo wheels 19x9.5+40F and 19x10.5+23R. The front has
a 15mm H&R spacer while the rear has a 10mm H&R spacer. I'm lowered using
H&R springs wherein the front is dropped further than swifts, but leaves a big
gap in the rear where the swifts look better. For the tires, I went with Bridestone's
RE-11, with a 265/35/19F and 305/30/19R.

Currently, the rear has a fugly gap which can be taken cared with coils, but
I'm saving up money to buy my buddy's volks.

Perfect, 15mm in the front looks perfect, my rear tires are factory size so I may go 15 in the rear too... Those pictures definitely helped though, thanks a ton!

Swifts drop the rear a little more, but I am just hoping they drop the front and the rear evenly, I hate the front being higher than the rear with the stock Nismo springs...

You're very welcome! Please rep.

You should be fine with the swifts but it will never go lower than what most
people expect. If you want to just close the wheel gap but not slam the car,
I'd save the money and go for coils. It's a mistake that til' this day I regret
not doing and hastened on lowering the car with springs.

Ahh my apologies. I am no help here. Yea I am on just the sport Rays. I am just amped up to get my springs finally installed. Although I do want to get a set of the '13 Nismo wheels so this will be good to know if I go that route.
