Well, I went with the Nankang Ns2's on my tire guys recommendation...
Ultra HP Z rated tires under $200 each. I have about 1000 miles on them thus far, and can honestly say I see no difference in handling from the stock potenzas, and I have pushed them hard to try to find a shortcoming..... They are much quieter than the potenzas as well. The biggest difference I can see is in the amount of tread between the 2 tires. The potenzas come new with 7/32 tread, the Nankangs are at 17/32...Quite a difference.. Time will tell as far as mileage is concerned, but I certainly hope they do better than the stock tires.
