painting a wheel spacer?

Is this possible to do without any problems? Painting it flat black to match the rotors for decreased visibility....

You're prolly better off powder coating. Not sure how it would affect the extended studs. Might cause issues with the threads.

I painted, no problems however the paint has chipped away slightly where the wheel meets the spacer. I sprayed entire thing, no issues otherwise.

The studs wouldn't get painted... this is a question regarding the V1 spacers.. The studs remain on the car while the spacer itself gets painted.

Gotcha... shouldn't be an issue then.

Idk. It is cheap but too much time and effort for a mod that does not do much. Just my personal opinion.

Just use some brake caliper spray paint or powder coat them if you're willing to spend more. That's actually a great idea.

My spacers are spray painted and have been for about 4 years, does no harm at all

Old photo with my base brakes and red lugs, as you can see it makes a big difference behind a black wheel that it's not a shiny silver spacer

mine are powdercoated, but just make sure to mask off the front and rear mounting surfaces and just paint the outside of it. That way they won't get stuck to the wheel or rotor.

Yeah I was just thinking about it when I was looking at the newly installed spacers.. Figured it is a good way to make them blend in a little more.

Done right spacers are a small mod that can make a big difference at the very least, visually
