I just read the text messages back and forth. Its amazing how nice you can be to a company thats sticking a huge dildo in your *** and jerking it around. Iv been on the giving and receiving end of being jerked around and man...rennen sure did the most Iv seen in a long time, theyve got me beat by a mile.

Some times theres people that dont know how to represent their company and dont relize how much one person can f*ck the business.

I didnt read much else of the thread but good job not lying down and continuing to ask for updates that they should easily and openly give you at the drop of a hat.

edit: funny thing is, Iv never had a single issue with vivid racing, intensepower, HRauto, and a couple other sites. Some idiots just want to try and make some quick cash and do BS business.

Default Final Update 7/3 ** Wheels In Hand **

Finally getting back on track had a long & draining weekend, surprised I even came to work yesterday! Ive been having some issues with photobucket but finally able to get the pics posted...

The wheels came in and looked amazing! I sent Chi-City-G pics the day them came in and went and took some location shots.

After all the drama to get these wheels I am extremely happy with the look, I couldnt have picked a better finish. They have been completely transformed and they even painted the inner barrels black without me asking, really makes them pop and hides all the dirt on the inside of the wheel.

I gotta give a shot out to the executives at Rennen, they heard me loud and clear, one conversation and he kept his end of the bargain. Im a man of my word and respect someone who can follow through so I am happy this is resolved.

Its great this negative chapter has been closed and look forward to some new things on the horizon.

Thanks to everyone who posted on the forums and showed support for me. This forum is like another family, everyone really sicks up for each other and I couldnt ask for anything else.

Much Love & Respect to all of you guys!

Hope you enjoy the pics!!!!

Location pics!

I was waiting for u to show a picture of u throwing them off a building. I know when I got my DPE wheel finally back, I considered taking them into the middle of the street and lighting them on fire.

After all the grief, are you going to put those back on? I know if it was me, I wouldn't

The painting was never the issue, It was the chrome peeling on the lip. The new lips aren't chrome, they are high polished with clear coat over the entire lip and barrel.

I believe Rennen has since switched to a different company for their chrome lips but not sure.

After all the grief honestly I thought about it but once I opened the box and started looking at them how could I? They look sick!

I think I made my point with Rennen, they know if there are anymore issues what will come out of it. It is up to Rennen to repair the image that they have tarnished.

kidding. glad to see you're happy with the outcome. I'd be surprised if that Rich guy was still employed right now.

did the chrome originally flake off because the spokes were making contact with the lip under load? i think your clear coat will crack and flake off if this is the case. i would double check on this.

Damn, what a read..
Glad to hear the OP got his wheels though in the end.

I went through a similar experience with a body shop, but with my entire car, about 10 years ago.
I know what it feels like.. sucks!

No I checked that, they peeled because the chroming was bad. I checked the clearance and they aren't touching the lips at all.
