245/45,275/40/18's A/S 3+'s.

I am liking my A/S 3+ so far. I’d love to hear a second opinion on them when you get some miles on them.

Changed up on my sizes to 225/50,255/45’s....wanted to stay closer to 27”.
Gonna behave at low speeds/ as these will be quicker than them fat summer tires!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d7fe9f8050.jpg

There's only 1 way to pull off 18's on the Z34 wheel arches:

Full track setup (@TonyZ34)

everything else looks sad to me. even the stock nismos come with 19's

You can certainly hit the track with Tony's old setup from 2016 as referenced in the picture, but i'd be hesitant to call it a "full track setup".

Also regarding 19's on a track car, most grassroots racers try to stay away from anything larger than 18's for the following reasons...
  • More limited tire choices than 18's
  • Cost of tires and wheels
  • Cannot rotate tires with the stagger of most 19's
  • Weight
  • Did i say cost?
  • Oh yeah and cost

Hey you need to add the cost to your list!

And the Z is more balanced with 18s and a square setup. All the GT4 and Grand Sport race cars are setup with 18 square.

My ADD kicked in lol. An excellent point, the car rotates far better with the square setup! With the stagger it was understeer city for me!

My 18’s are going back on just for winter use;
As mine doesn’t sit unless weather is poor...drive 3-400 mlles per week.
19’s going back on in the spring w/fresh PSS’s on it.

I have always said 18s for track are best for all the reasons you mentioned. Superior tire choices at better prices

i just think they look terrible, which is why i'd recommend 2 sets
20's for street
18's for track

Must be nice!

I just want to change the front wheels setup of my Z :( I have the 18x9.5+22 Enkei RS05RR and I want them in 18x10+22 :( But definitively I preferred the 18" for track  If I buy another set of wheels in the future are going to be in 19" but are going to be more for the look department lol!:p

Yeah, I am wheel and tire poor. I got a deal on the Volks I could not pass up so I am thinking about letting the Enkies go.

Ride quality, handling, road noise,etc... Excellent; couldn’t have made a better decision on tire.
As these were installed for cold weather use.
I’m not gonna “Roast” the tread from these & hopefully get a few winters of driving out of them....they sure are narrow vs. 285/35,345/30/19’s,,,but are put on for serving a purpose & are doing well.

Anyone know the specs and tire size?

OptionZero 01-14-2018 10:49 PM

Enkei NT01RR
18x10.5 front
18x11 rear

295/40/18 (i believe all around)

I couldn't find the exact offsets, but i am confident they are whatever the lowest Enkei offers for those wheels

I bet his camber is close to -3 and -2
