to add to this anomaly the PSs's have a 300 treadwear/ AA traction/ A temp and the RE-11s are 200 treadwear/ A traction/ A temp. still feels like the RE-11s are a much better tire and that is something i never thought i'd say after having PSS's lol |
I love this thread hahaa

This setup is purely custom and designed to run at or below 1 degree at this height, without any lip work, in theory. We thought long and hard about 345, but i wanted to go for 325 first and go from there. But Rusty has made me regret that, haha! I bet if I let some air out, I can bring that outside edge down some! |

i def want to get a rear set-up up wide sticky DRs soon though. i was looking into like a 18x12 wheel and run 325 or so mickey thompson DRs or maybe R888s. but the issue is there arent many 18's that will clear the rear sport brakes ive found without shavign the rear calipers. not doing that lol |
I have 315's in the rear and 275's up front. I can post pics later today

Man, that's over 1" taller than the factory sizes. Its going to look like balloons on the rear and the added height will definitely give you more risk in rubbing. I know people want to go wider but this is not the way to do it IMO. I don't think getting less camber is the way to go. I think the bigger negative camber is your saviour right now and that's why you're not rubbing. R.K. |
There we go, Installed my 325/30R19s (and the rear 285/35R19s in the front) on my factory Nismo wheels and drove a couple hundred miles already, couldn't be happier with my new setup :D

Also, I will say it again...let's not forget that we are in the "Meaty Tire Thread" :P |
Those came out really big, I hope you guys know how to zoom out on your browser to about 25% because I already have them uploaded in that size haha
|
Damn, those are small pictures. LOL
For my next trick. 305/35-19's on the front. :stirthepot: |

Now you got me thinking...305/35R19 should fit on my OEM 9.5s as well, and that would give me more clearance in the front for those ****** driveways  |
Well, the only problem with a 305/35R19 is that they are so rare and impossible to find anywhere that they don't really exist, not in my book atleast as I'm not paying $700 per tire, and especially for a slick lol

Sigh, big tires on small rims:ugh2:. I'm about to put a 305 on an 11" rim. Could I go wider, sure, would it be worth it, probably not. A 325 is the biggest tire I would stuff on there.
|
someone find me a 18x12" wheel that fits sprot brakes in the rear....ready? GO! lol

originally i found 18x12 ROTA wheels for 275 each lol but they require a slight shave off of the rear calipers. not happening lol was my cheap route. havent found much that isnt expensive since. |
