Challenger Concept Rim ↓↓

What I do not like in a rim is a fake two/three-piece, or fake engineered rim, or chrome, period. HRE makes a quality rim; iForged look to be good. There is just something about a simple elegant design that is more appealing to me than a visually busy rim.
True, You can't forget about the monoblocks either though, HRE, iForged, and Rays make some Awesome ones.
I too am not a fan of cheap and chrome rims personally.

The shop Z will be getting some wheel fitment testing soon, and am looking forward to it!

I'm having a hard time justifying spending $3K + on tires and wheels, when I can be putting that toward a TT kit or Supercharger. I probably will go with aftermarket wheels at some point, but I think the factory Rays sport wheels are a pretty good set. Now I just need to decide if I should keep them silver or have them powder coated satin black. what do you guys think? see attached photoshopped pics. Oh, I lowered the car 1.5 inches too

^^ Hey, nice job with the pics.

I think they look great the way they are but look just as nice with the powder coat black. I guess it all depends if you want to set your Z apart from the rest and want to spend the money geting the color change. Black does look more bad azz, while the silver looks more clean and sophisticated. These are just my opinions of course.

Anyway, you say that you rather not spend the $$ on new wheels and tires and instead on a TT kit. So why not do that. Leave the wheels the way they are and use the $$ that you would pay to get them painted towards your TT kit.

Does this seem logical?

Thanks, Yep I agree, I think I only want to do so it's a little different then the rest. It's not that expensive though, place by my work is only $250 for all 4 wheels. I'm like 50/50, I think it looks good both ways, just depends on my mood.

^^ I am a fan of the LMGT4. I think they looked great on the 350 and other previous Nissans models but I think they look boring on the 370. To me (of course) they just don't provide that look where you immediately stop and say "WOW!" or "DAMN!". The new Z needs something more modern, artistic, edgy, exotic like, something with flare. The car's exterior styling makes it look more expensive than what it actually retails for. You all know what I'm talking about. It's got crazy styling. That's why the factory wheels fit it so well. They're different, artistic, edgy, expensive looking, modern day styling. All they need is to be a little wider. But I guess you can't have everything.

For these reasons, I plan on staying with the stock sport wheels for a while and get a set of spacers to help eliminate the gap between the wheel and fender wall.

Again, these are my opinionated views. I'm not hating the the LMGT4s. I just don't think they're the right set of wheels for this car.

This is what I'm talkin about. Lower the car a little bit, push the wheels out some and you have a sick, but at the same time classy and tasteful look.

WOW I like number 7. I like the different colors it displays. Are these rims light?
