Yeah I saw this on amazon too while shopping for the 63621's. What is the difference? More lugs?

Don't those Mag Style locks need a washer to fit properly?? (Like the Reg Lug Nut?)
Also, would it be paranoid to have 2 diff wheel locks per wheel??
And yes, I live and work in some shady parts of Downtown Los Angeles :0(

Thumbs up

Hey, I dont think that's paranoid at all; I considered doing that myself. However, I finally decided not to because a determined POS will find a way to get em off, regardless of how great your locking scheme is. I think just the sight of a wheel lock is enough to deter your average crook due to the extra time needed to pry off a locked set.

As for the washers, yes, each set comes with washers that fit the mag style perfectly.

I bought the same wheel locks (63621) for my sports package rays and asked the guy at Discount Tire to install them for me and he said that they won't fit? I'm not sure if he was too lazy to put them on for me or what, but now I'm not sure if I should use them? How can I know for sure that these are the right ones? Before you give me a hard time, I don't work on my car and don't have the tools to install them.

Hey buddy, yes, the 63621's fit fine!

..and yes, that guy was just being an @$$. The good news is you don;t need any special tools to do this. Just unscrew one bolt from each wheel and replace it with a gorilla and you're done! You can unscrew the bolts with the stock Nissan lug wrench in the trunk.

So this wheel lock work fine even with the depth and not being cone shape where they connect to the sport wheel hub?
The washer that comes with the gorilla lock simulates what the stock lug does to keep the nut flush?

Hi Vamp, yes, they fit perfectly. The Sports Pkg 19" wheels require "mag" style locks and these fit perfectly flush. See the pics above.

Hey, just got my new tires and sport Rays stolen off my car, damnit! I'm getting new ones ordered to put on, as well as repairs to my poor car. Wondering if this model is still the recommended wheel lock? The Nissan brand ones are $40-50 so I'm wondering if these are better. Also, Amazon says another model fits the Z, are we still sure this is the one to get? The shape doesn't seem right...

You'll fúck your **** up, they aren't big enough to put pressure on the wheels.

OP, go tighten them more, them tighten them more, then do it again...
Now undo them and you'll see that the washer is bent because the lock is going INTO the hole
JARblue and chrischhorn like this.

You need one of a washer lock style. One that threads into the wheel as our wheels are lug centric. If the lug does not protrude through the wheel then there is no support on that certain stud basically causing it to float around the stud instead of resting on it, putting extra strain on the remaining 4 studs. This is something that you should be using or find something similar.

As DEpointfive0 said, its not locking the wheel in correctly.

(Our wheels are hubcentric)

To the OP, I haven't run into a set that ACTUALLY work, I had a set that had washers, but the washer diameter wasnt the correct size

While yeah you can buy another washer, like I did, it didn't work, I kept torquing it and it would KEEP going in... Bending the washer
Since our lug nuts are acorn shaped, those edges that protrude out from the hat are the things giving added pressure to the wheels

As for the locks Chris recommended, all I can say is make sure the "hat" is the same diameter on both
