pulled this from bridgestone's website:

RE050A
245/40/19 = 29 lb
275/35/19 = 30 lb
285/35/19 = 39 lb

RE11
245/40/19 = 29 lb
285/35/19 = 28 lb

hmmmm the RE050A adds 9 pounds going from a 275 to 285. I believe it should have been 31 lb for the 285/35/19.

Anywho, my RE-11's shipped yesterday thru tirebuyer for $306 each and free shipping. Total ship weight for 285/35/19's were 56 lbs.

Or you can get Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

245/40ZR19 = 25lbs.
275/35ZR19 = 27lbs.
295/30ZR19 = 28lbs.

When I looked it up a while ago, my 265/305 RE-11 setup was lighter than the stock RE050s.

Yah, RE050A/S04's are heavy compared to Michelin and Continental's high perf summer tires.

I don't think any street tire is as good as RE-11's ... maybe the Dunlop Star Specs... or I think that's what the Dunlops are called.
