Default you have aftermarket wheels? rock chips?

People that have aftermarket wheels do you have rock chips? I had my sport wheels for almost 2 years and didn't have a single chip. I've had my ssr wheels for 2 months and I have 2 chips on the edge of the lip. I think part of the reason are my continental tires, which has no protection of the lip unlike the oem tires that did. I'm not upset or thinking about repairing it. Im just curious what your experience has been.

You know how the hood can get hit by pebbles the same thing happens to wheels. Does that make sense? Getting rock chips has nothing to do with my driving skills.

this part threw me off... lip protectors do nothing for rocks flying into your wheels.

I have a few but it's inevitable and there are plenty of people who have them with the OEM wheels as well....it happens.

If it gets really bad just have them refinshed or even painted another color entirely.
