Default Base Spare with Akebono Brakes?

I upgrade my base 370z to the Sport brake kit, and now I've realized that my spare probably won't fit. I'm hoping that someone knows how big a spacer I would need for this spare to work (and also if I'll kill myself running a spacer with a spare).

Help?

I don't think it will work at all. You need an 18" wheel to clear the brakes. Will need to get hold of a sport spare or a good tow/repair service

Damn. That's what I was afraid of... Thanks for the help Chris! Now I gotta go lube up before I head to the stealership.

I'm guessing a new spare will be PRICEY.

Probably. It's a forged alloy wheel! No keed.

Might want to check eBay etc for a used one. Occasionally people decide to ditch the spare and go with an patch/inflation kit instead.

Has anyone confirmed that the spare will no longer fit? I didn't even think about this when upgrading my brakes. Just assumed the spare tire was the same regardless of the Z package bought.

I've tried it, doesn't fit. You can often find one in the classifieds here, ad there are a couple good options from tirerack for ~$100

If you have a flat on the front rotate the rear tire to the front and run the spare on the rear, it will fit on the rear.

I think.
