the 19's have a more aggressive offset and you shouldnt worry about the offsets as they will fit no problem as they are an OEM part.

Pad height is the part of the wheel face behind the face of the wheel. This is the area in which the lugs attach the wheel to the hub. The height refers to the distance from the hub to the back of the wheel face. In order to build the wheel to clear the calipers you must adjust the pad height. This is why when you look at the japanese manufacturers they have faces labeled (O,J,A,B, and etc...) each of these faces has a different pad height and their purpose was to clear different brake sizes.

Thanks for your help mike, it is much appreciated. I tried a 5mm spacer on the front today and it is still hitting the front brake calliper but only just. I can get hold of a 15mm spacer for the front but that makes me worry as surely that would cause some serious rubbing since the fronts are already a +17? I may just have to sell the wheels :(

Yeah, there's no way you're going to able to run +2 on the fronts without either some major camber or looking like a giant roller skate.

I decided to order Rotiform BTH in black matte

for front 20x10 +20 offset on 235/35 tire
for rear 20x12 +0 offset on 275/30 tire

is it ok? especially for front sport brake support +20 offset is ok? will brake support fit this? or better get +30 offset for front?

thanks!

Hey guys,

I already have a good, firm grip on how offsets work, and that 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+12 is the typical setup. Can you guys give opinions if a 19x9.5+12 and 19x10.5+18 work? It's just mind boggling that I think that the front will stick out further than the rear or what??? Or like the front is way aggressive than the rear. Any help is appreciated.

The wheels with those offsets just mentioned are MS3s.

Along with offset, the design of the wheel determines whether it will clear the brakes. So just by offset alone no one can tell you.

Also, why would you get such a wide wheel and such a skinny tire.. might as well stick with the stock width's... wastin all that space.

no widths are too narrow. You will sit worse than stock.
