You are right that the PSS will outlast the RE11, but it doesn't grip better. The PSS was designed as a replacement to the PS2, which is nothing more than a very good street tire where the RE11 was designed as a treaded track tire. You might want to lower your expectations on the PSS to something like a S04. It's a Michelin tire, I believe they will be very good. I just hate the fact that they are so expensive, almost like buying a BMW.
Life expectancy on RE-11 is roughly 8K-15K, PSS is 30K. Quote:
