Wheels or brakes first?

So I'm itching to get new wheels(Axis Angles ) but it's just that the stock brakes look so... cheap so I'll probably replace em with something else eventually. So should

Default Wheels or brakes first?

So I'm itching to get new wheels(Axis Angles ) but it's just that the stock brakes look so... cheap so I'll probably replace em with something else eventually.


So should I go ahead and replace the brakes first? How much is an average brembo(or similar) brake kit? Not the super duper quadruple drilled racing kits that is.

You should do wheels first. I assume you don't have the sport package, and if you do a BBK first, your stock wheels may not fit over them.

As far as wheels and brakes go, the wait is pretty much over.

There are already a number of top name manufacturers who make stuff for the 370Z. They got a little head start on the G37.

I went with wheels first that I knew would clear a larger brake.

You can always source the brake kit you're looking for, and get a brake fitment profile from the manufacturer, so you can confirm the brake kit will clear the wheels you're looking at, so you can purchase with the confidence that you won't have to replace the wheels later when you're ready to bolt-on the brake kit.

I've checked out some "brake kits" online and some of them were going for up to $10k+

Now I'm guessing this includes all kinds of other components but can I just replace the rotors and calipers without replacing anything else?

Most kits will come with calipers, rotors, pads, and steel braided brake lines. I would recommend replacing all of those things. There are brake kits in all different price ranges.
